WHAT IT IS

What Is an Internet Leased Line?

An Internet Leased Line -- also called Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) or ILL -- is a private, uncontended circuit reserved exclusively for one customer, from Navneet's core network straight to your premises. Unlike consumer or shared corporate broadband, no other business or household shares that bandwidth with you.

Because the line isn't shared, throughput doesn't drop during local peak-usage hours, upload speed equals download speed, and Navneet can attach a contractual, legally binding uptime commitment to it -- something a best-effort consumer connection simply cannot offer.

Mission-Critical Specifications

  • 1:1 Uncontended BandwidthThe throughput you purchase is 100% reserved exclusively for your facility -- zero contention ratio.
  • Symmetrical Up / Down SpeedsEqual upload and download throughput for cloud ERP sync, backups, and multi-party video.
  • 99.9% Contractual Legal SLAA legally binding uptime commitment with a defined Mean Time to Restore -- see our SLA Disclosures.
  • Dedicated IP SubnetA /29 or /28 static public IP block included, for VPNs, PBX, and firewall rules.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Internet Leased Line FAQs

How long does it take to get a leased line installed?
For on-net buildings with existing optical termination, activation typically completes in 2-4 business days. Off-net sites that need dedicated fiber trenching and splicing usually take 5-10 business days after feasibility clearance.
What's the difference between a leased line and "unlimited" broadband?
"Unlimited" broadband describes data caps, not contention. Broadband -- even business-grade -- is typically shared 1:20 to 1:30 with other customers on the same segment, so real-world speed varies by time of day. A leased line's bandwidth is contractually yours alone, all day, every day.
Do we get a static IP address?
Yes. A dedicated static public IPv4 subnet (/29 or /28) is included, which is what makes site-to-site VPNs, hosted PBX, and CCTV NVRs work reliably without the routing problems CGNAT introduces.
What happens if the SLA isn't met?
The 99.9% commitment carries defined service credits if it isn't met in a given billing month. Full terms, exclusions, and how to request a credit are on our SLA Disclosures page.
